Terms & Conditions for Honeysuckle Cottage Holiday Let

By booking Honeysuckle Cottage, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making your reservation.

1. Booking and Payment

  • A reservation is confirmed once a 25% deposit is received.

  • The balance of the rental is due 6 weeks before your arrival date.

  • If the booking is made within 6 weeks of the arrival date, full payment is required at the time of booking.

  • Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit/debit card, or other methods as agreed.

2. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made more than 12 weeks prior to the arrival date will result in a full refund of the deposit.

  • Cancellations made more than 6 weeks prior to the arrival date will incure the full cost of the deposit.

  • Cancellations made less than 6 weeks before arrival will incur the full cost of the booking.

  • In the event of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, personal emergencies), we will consider flexible arrangements where possible, but cannot guarantee refunds outside of the policy above.

3. Check-in / Check-out

  • Check-in is from 4:00 PM on the day of arrival.

  • Check-out is by 11:00 AM on the day of departure.

  • Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request, subject to availability. A fee of £50 applies.

4. Occupancy

  • The maximum occupancy of Honeysuckle Cottage is 2 adults.

  • Only those named in the booking are permitted to stay. Any additional guests must be agreed upon in advance.

  • The property is not suitable for children or pets unless explicitly agreed in advance.

5. Use of Property

  • The cottage is to be used for holiday accommodation only. No parties, events, or commercial use is allowed.

  • Guests are expected to treat the property and its contents with respect. Any damage or breakages must be reported immediately.

  • Guests are responsible for any damage or loss to the property or its contents and may be charged for repairs or replacements.

6. Smoking

  • Smoking is not permitted inside the property. Please use designated outdoor areas and dispose of cigarette butts responsibly.

7. House Rules

  • Please ensure the cottage is kept secure when you leave and that all windows and doors are locked.

  • Please do not rearrange the furniture or remove any items from the property.

  • Please respect the peace and quiet of the village and surrounding area, particularly during the evenings.

8. Liability

  • The property owner is not responsible for any loss, damage, injury, or accident to guests or their personal property during their stay.

  • We strongly recommend that guests take out travel insurance that includes personal injury and damage to property.

9. Internet and Wi-Fi

  • Wi-Fi is provided, but due to the rural location, we cannot guarantee a high-speed or uninterrupted connection.

10. Force Majeure

  • The owner is not liable for failure to provide the property if caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as adverse weather conditions, flooding, fire, or other unforeseeable events.

11. Data Protection

  • Your personal details will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and only used for booking and communication purposes. Your information will never be shared with third parties without your consent.
