Terms & Conditions for Honeysuckle Cottage Holiday Let

By booking Honeysuckle Cottage via this website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making your reservation.

1. Booking and Payment

  • A reservation is confirmed once full payment is received.

  • Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit/debit card, or other methods as agreed.

  • If the date of stay is more than 8 weeks away, we are happy to take a deposit of 25% with the balance to be paid within 4 weeks of the check in date. Please contact us if this is your preferred way of booking

2. Cancellation Policy

  • All deposits are non-refundable.

  • You may cancel your visit at any time. Cancellation will be effective on the date we receive notice.

  • Cancellations made at least 4 weeks before arrival will receive a refund less 25% of the cost of the booking.

  • Cancellations made less than 4 weeks before arrival will incur the full cost of the booking.

  • We recommend taking out travel insurance which covers any cancellation charges and any

    additional losses which you may incur through cancellation of your holiday, whether by you or

    us. We are only responsible for any additional losses if you were entitled to cancel because we

    were in serious breach of our obligations to you and the losses were both directly caused by

    our breach and reasonably foreseeable by us when the booking was made.

  • In the event of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, personal emergencies), we will consider flexible arrangements where possible, but cannot guarantee refunds outside of the policy above.

3. Check-in / Check-out

  • Check-in is from 4:00 PM on the day of arrival.

  • Check-out is by 11:00 AM on the day of departure.

  • Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request, subject to availability. A fee of £50 applies unless otherwise included in our seasonal booking rates..

4. Occupancy

  • The maximum occupancy of Honeysuckle Cottage is 2 adults.

  • Only those named in the booking are permitted to stay. Any additional guests must be agreed upon in advance.

  • The property is not suitable for children or pets unless explicitly agreed in advance.

5. Use of Property

  • The cottage is to be used for holiday accommodation only. No parties, events, or commercial use is allowed.

  • Guests are expected to treat the property and its contents with respect. Any damage or breakages must be reported immediately.

  • Guests are responsible for any damage or loss to the property or its contents and may be charged for repairs or replacements.

6. Smoking

  • Smoking is not permitted inside the property. Please use designated outdoor areas and dispose of cigarette butts responsibly.

7. House Rules

  • Please ensure the cottage is kept secure when you leave and that all windows and doors are locked.

  • Please do not rearrange the furniture or remove any items from the property.

  • Please respect the peace and quiet of the village and surrounding area, particularly during the evenings.

  • EV charging is not permitted.

8. Liability

  • The property owner is not responsible for any loss, damage, injury, or accident to guests or their personal property during their stay.

  • We strongly recommend that guests take out travel insurance that includes personal injury and damage to property.

9. Internet and Wi-Fi

  • Wi-Fi is provided, but due to the rural location, we cannot guarantee a high-speed or uninterrupted connection.

10. Force Majeure

  • The owner is not liable for failure to provide the property if caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as adverse weather conditions, flooding, fire, or other unforeseeable events.

11. Data Protection

  • Your personal details will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and only used for booking and communication purposes. Your information will never be shared with third parties without your consent.
