Our midweek breaks run from Monday to Friday, giving you a little more time to settle in, explore the Jurassic Coast and enjoy the cottage without trying to fit everything into a couple of days.
Just a short walk from Lulworth Cove, with Durdle Door and the spectacular Jurassic Coast close by, Honeysuckle is a peaceful base for exploring Dorset.

Why choose a midweek break?
More time. Less rushing.
There’s something lovely about having a few weekdays away from the usual routine.
You can take your time over breakfast, head out for a walk without worrying about getting back for the weekend crowds, stop for lunch somewhere along the coast and still have plenty of time left in the day.
Explore Lulworth Cove, walk towards Durdle Door, follow the South West Coast Path or discover more of Dorset before returning to Honeysuckle Cottage for a quiet evening.
And with four nights rather than three, you don’t have to choose between doing something and doing nothing.
Some days can be for exploring.
Some can simply be for relaxing.
West Lulworth at a quieter pace
Midweek is a particularly lovely time to experience West Lulworth.
The village and surrounding countryside feel peaceful, while the Jurassic Coast gives you plenty of opportunities to get outside and explore.
You can make a day of it with a coastal walk, visit one of the local attractions, or simply wander down to Lulworth Cove and take in the scenery.
Then come back to Honeysuckle Cottage, put the kettle on and enjoy having nowhere else you need to be.

Honeysuckle Cottage is a 300-year-old thatched cottage, carefully restored to retain its character while giving you the modern comforts you’d expect from a luxury stay.
It’s small and intimate, making it particularly suited to couples looking for a few days away together.
You’ll find a comfortable living space, well-equipped kitchen, king-size bed, walk-in rainfall shower, underfloor heating, electric log burner, private garden and parking for two vehicles.
And because you’re staying directly with us, your four-night midweek break includes two tickets to Monkey World — one of our favourite local attractions and somewhere we have a special connection with.
