At Honeysuckle Cottage, our weekend breaks give you three nights in West Lulworth — enough time to arrive, settle in and actually enjoy being away.
Our beautifully restored Grade II listed thatched cottage is just a short walk from Lulworth Cove, with the Jurassic Coast, Durdle Door and some of Dorset’s best walks right on your doorstep.
Whether you want to spend your days exploring the coast, finding a good pub lunch or simply enjoying the cottage together, West Lulworth makes a lovely base for a few days away.

Why stay for three nights?
A two-night break can sometimes feel like you’ve only just arrived before it’s time to leave.
Three nights gives you a little more breathing space.
You can arrive on Friday, unpack, head out for a drink or dinner and wake up on Saturday without having to rush anywhere.
Spend Saturday exploring Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door or the South West Coast Path. Take Sunday at a slower pace — perhaps a long breakfast, a country walk and lunch somewhere nearby — before coming back to Honeysuckle Cottage for a quiet evening. If the range walks are open, we suggest exploring Tyneham Ghost Village. It’s a fascinating place!
Then there’s Monday morning. No frantic early start. Just one more Dorset walk, coffee or leisurely breakfast before you head home.
